Another year has come and passed. Three hundred and sixty-five days of ups and downs on this incredible, crazy journey. It has been rather...uneventful, if I am going to be honest. Most of the year was spent focusing on college, something that I had been neglecting since I started my secondary education. I completed 46 credits (this is a big deal) in one year and actually got good grades, making the Dean's honor roll!
This year has been building a foundation for 2013 to be the best year ever. Next year, I will finally graduate from college, and let me tell you, the moment I walk across the stage at graduation will be one of the greatest of my life. I haven't accomplished much in my lifetime, and even less since I graduated high school. This is something that I have been working on for five years, and to finally have succeeded, despite the great odds against me, is a miracle.
So here is to next year and the many more years to come. Bring it on, 2013!
I cried from the beginning of the 2012 Spring semester all the way until my last semester in Summer 2012. It's such a wonderful feeling you've worked so hard to achieve something and you finally get to achieve it. Keep up the great work!
